Headquartered in Blaine, Minnesota, Plant and Flanged Equipment (P&FE) provides outstanding client service with integrity to its client base. This family-owned company offers estimating, pipe fabrication and material supplies to Contractors in the Water Works Industry.

Position Overview :

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk manages the shipment and receipt of goods into and out of the Plant and Flanged manufacturing facility. This position ensures that all incoming and outgoing shipments are correctly processed, documented, and tracked. Additionally, other production tasks will be assigned, as needed.

Job Responsibilities :

The shipping and Receiving Clerk verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the accuracy in order numbers, invoice documents, and shipment quantities. Working independently, specific responsibilities include the following;

• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product inventory and can readily identify products by type and location.
• Verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order numbers, invoice documents, and shipment quantities.
• Unloads and loads materials and products.
• Inspects incoming shipments for damage or defects.
• Unpacks and places incoming materials received in the appropriate area.
• Maintains inventory and shipments in an organized manner
• Prepares finished product for shipment.
• Verifies and organizes finished products according to order and invoices.
• Operates warehouse machinery such as forklifts.
• Completes other production related processes as assigned.

Qualifications :

Required (Must Have) : Technical and Professional Expertise

High School Diploma, or equivalent.

Preferred (Nice to Have) : Technical and Professional expertise

Technical Competencies :

Can read Shipping and Receiving documents.

Is accurate, precise and pays attention to detail.

Physical Requirements :

This position requires :

Frequent (Up to 8 hours per day) standing and repetitive motion, hand / wrist movement associated with using machining equipment.

Frequent (up to 8 hours per day) bending, pulling, reaching, lifting (up to 60 lbs.), and grasping.

Sensory Requirements : Good eyesight, normal hearing, ability to speak clearly and to be understood in the English language.

Working Conditions :

Indoors, heavy industry manufacturing / production area.

Outdoors, to retrieve raw material, components, etc.

Work Schedule :

This position usually works for 8-10 hours during the period between 7 : 00 am and 7 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday.However, additional hours of work may be required during peak business times.

Reliable transportation required. Must be on-time at the start of the shift each and every workday.
