Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
- Create visually engaging digital and print materials that align with Plant Bar's brand identity.
- Develop designs for digital marketing campaigns, email newsletters, website content, and product promotions.
- Design social media graphics, banners, and advertisements to support marketing objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute design solutions that resonate with our audience.
Social Media Support:
- Assist in the creation of visual content for Plant Bar's social media platforms.
- Collaborate on ideas for visual storytelling and engaging posts that align with our brand.
- Support the marketing team with scheduling and uploading content, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments as needed.
Campaign Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop and implement promotional campaigns.
- Ensure brand consistency across all visual materials and digital channels.
- Contribute design expertise to brainstorming sessions and campaign strategy meetings.
Brand Development:
- Maintain and evolve Plant Bar's visual brand identity, ensuring it remains fresh and relevant.
- Provide creative input on product packaging, promotional materials, and in-store signage as needed.
Requirements:
- 3 years of graphic design experience, preferably in a retail, health, or wellness setting.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other industry-standard design software.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
- Experience in social media content creation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing trends and social media platforms.
- Strong leadership and drive to support the growth of a small startup
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with video editing and motion graphics.
- Photography skills.
- Interest in and/or passion for health, wellness, and plant-based lifestyles.
Compensation:
Starting at $19-$23 per hour, based on experience. The role is approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours based on performance and business needs.
