About the Role :

As the Quality Assurance Manager , you’ll ensure that all PBI products are produced to the highest standards of quality and food safety. Working closely with the Production Manager and Director of Operations, you’ll oversee compliance with HACCP, SQF, FDA regulations, and internal quality assurance protocols. This role is key to maintaining our commitment to excellence in food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and deliver training programs on food safety and quality requirements.
• Create, update, and maintain SOPs, manuals, policies, and procedures related to food safety.
• Conduct and oversee facility audits, including third-party audits (SQF, State, Organic, Kosher).
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Maintain and manage the food safety security plan.
• Assist in supplier training to ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
• Oversee facility sanitation to comply with food safety regulations.
• Report and address food safety and quality issues.
• Partner with the Production Manager to manage QA and QC functions effectively.
