Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and distribute materials, parts, and products to designated areas.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
- Ensure materials are delivered to production lines in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts as needed.
- Organize and maintain storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
- Follow safety protocols for handling hazardous materials and operating equipment.
- Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing shipments for delivery.
- Communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Keep work areas clean and free from safety hazards.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, or a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred, onsite training available).
- Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse management procedures.
- Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and material specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
