Machine Operator

Summary/Objective:
The Machine Operator position will be responsible for the operation of the filler including loading packaging material, gathering material, loading product, and general operation of the production machine.

Essential Functions:

· Gather packaging material including cups, lids, plastic, and other material associated with machine.

· Check machines for safety.

· Fill out paperwork for needed QA.

· Follow detailed instructions for the operation of the machine.

· Schedule CIP with Sanitation

· Perform CIP on equipment if needed.

· Keep the equipment clean and sanitary.

· Daily check of equipment, tools, and instrumentation

· Identify and report food safety and food quality issues.

· Follow all OSHA safety guidelines.

· Comply with GMP and Food safety guidelines.

· Perform all other tasks as requested by plant/floor supervisor.

· Help other areas of plant if needed.

· Responsible for following the company’s food and safety policies.

· Responsible for reporting any food safety issues to management.

· Responsible for following all responsibilities outlined in the Cook SOP job responsibilities.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, and the noise level in the manufacturing and bottling work environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is very active and requires standing and walking.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Specific weekly schedule and timing to be determined by the Production Supervisors

• High school diploma/GED
