SALARY RANGE - $34,069 - $52,124
Ad Valorem - 2.40 parish property (ad valorem) tax mills are dedicated to employee salaries. The annual receipts from this tax are distributed to employees twice a year, one-half in January and one-half in June. The amount of each employee’s supplement is the employee’s salary multiplied by the annual percentage (computed each year based on actual tax revenues).
1. High School Diploma
2. Bookkeeping experience required
3. Knowledge of three (3)-way match (purchase order, receiving and payment)
4. Appropriate maturity necessary to work effectively in a time sensitive environment
5. Minimum of one (1) year clerical experience or equivalency
6. Accuracy in typing
7. Ability to use calculating machine
8. Demonstrated experience and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
9. Proficient in Google Sheets, Docs, and Forms
10. Ability to work with administrators, staff, students and parents in a professional and courteous manner.
