As a result of our rapid growth and expanding operations, we have an immediate opening for an experienced Quality Lab Manager to support our team.
The Quality Lab Manger will manage the lab schedule and employees, ensuring that required tasks are completed accurately and on-time.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Required Tasks)
- Coach, train and mentor employees in the Quality lab
- Plan and oversee the lab schedule to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on-time, including audits, approvals, dimensional layouts, capability studies, etc.
- Assist and guide employees on equipment operation, blueprint reading, GD&T, measurements and more
- Comply with all quality system requirements
- Ensure a safe, clean work environment
SKILL SET (Required Skills)
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on quality, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience in a similar position or quality positions of increasing responsibility
- Strong GD&T background
- Experience with PC-DMIS and Polyworks
- Familiarity with CMM operation and programming
- ASQ certification preferred
- Ability to maintain certificates in TS, QS or ISO auditing with familiarity of standards
- Strong familiarity with engineering documentation, including weld callouts, print tolerances, etc.

Frequently lifting and carrying up to 5 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 35 pounds. Use of hands to hold, lift and handle materials. Occasional climbing, bending and squatting.
