What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Intern position at Plastech Corporation?
The Quality Assurance Intern position is responsible for completing various process improvement initiatives, assisting with continuous improvement opportunities, and updating documentation records that support Quality, Engineering, and Production functions.
Core Responsibilities:
- Label assembly racks and fixtures, organize racks, add tooling information to IQMS.
- CMD reorganization: setup racks, define home locations for product, count inventory and submit to Warehouse Coordinator.
- Submit compliance documents; review BOM’s, contact suppliers and record information.
- Take video footage of Assembly operations and edit to provide guidance to operators.
- Create laminated hour-by-hour sheets to improve assembly efficiency.
- Update welder setting documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Other duties as assigned.
Hours Available:
- 1st Shift - Monday thru Friday ($18.00 per hour)
