Building Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of facilities and offices through sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
• Perform maintenance and light repairs on equipment and systems, including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and conduct inspections to identify potential maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to complete maintenance projects efficiently.
• Perform routine landscaping, including debris and waste removal, and trimming overgrown areas.
• Operate a box truck for moving equipment as needed.
• Conduct power washing and gutter cleaning.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks such as snow removal and cleanup.
• Engage in general property maintenance, including painting and filling gaps or crevices on walls and sidewalks.
• Assist the construction/maintenance team with additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external vendors.
• Experience in commercial painting, electrical repairs, and other maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency in English for clear communication within the team.
• Possession of a vehicle and a current driver's license.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Saturday overtime available

Experience:

• Maintenance: Minimum of 2 years
