Maintenance Manager
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager with significant experience in the plastics market to join our team!
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure safety is of paramount importance to all in the Maintenance Area, and convey thatmessage throughout all departments as a part of the corporate culture.Maximize uptime through preventative and predictive maintenance, utilizing CMMS.Ensure all areas are staffed appropriately and perpetuate a Team atmosphere in theMaintenance department.Through consensus, establish team goals and provide leadership and mentoring tomaintenance leads, technicians and sub-contractors to achieve maintenance objectives.Help troubleshoot major problems, implement solutions, and dig with your team to get problemssolved.Create Maintenance Plans.Prepare and manage annual budgets and maintenance capital and expenditures and make surefinancial constraints are met.Training, Staffing, and development of Maintenance department personnel.Spare parts and maintenance parts.Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Review and approve capital equipment and plant change specifications.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:10 years of Maintenance department experience.5 years of Maintenance Management experience.Good mechanical, electrical experience and strong training/mentoring skills.Background in plastics manufacturing (injection molding, blow molding, thermoforming, films,extrusion, etc.).Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, drives, material convey systems (push/pull, blow/vacuum), PLC’s, air compressors, etc.Experience with CMMS and preventative maintenance.Professional manager with outstanding team building skills and who fosters a culture of safety and mutual respect.
