Our client is an industry leading plastics manufacturer. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with plastics experience. This person will be responsible for equipment efficiency, continuous and quality improvement projects, and scrap reduction among other duties. Come be a part of a great and growing team!
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes for plastic products.
- Engineer proper engineering design and safety standards.
- Evaluate and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, identify bottlenecks, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with finance, engineering, and operations teams to design and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Communicate with vendors and contractors on cost and to ensure deliverables are met.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process control plans.
- Conduct process capability studies and implement statistical process control (SPC).
- Ensure proper safety and quality in projects on new or existing equipment.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications :
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
