PURPOSE
The Engineer defines problems, conducts and narrows research, analyzes criteria, finds and analyzes solutions, and makes decisions. In this role, much of an engineer's time is spent on researching, locating, applying, and transferring information. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Creativity, innovation of assigned tasks and existing processes and/or product
Reliability, be available to complete tasks as required by internal/external customer requirements
Communicate internally in the department or with individuals directly associated with assigned tasks (verbal and written)
Occasional travel; mainly for training purposes, customer support, or trade shows
Take verbal and/or written directions on tasks, training, or department/company policies
Provide verbal and or written results, a summary of tasks, or requests to various persons during the execution of tasks
Implement processes that will meet corporate goals for delivery, customer service, and cost
Work within the system to solve problems and implement improvements
Ensure policies and procedures are followed to obtain corporate objectives
Maintain procedures to insure quality related to all production processes
Support of all ISO regulations
Support a world class environment that promotes safety, cleanliness, and pride in workmanship
Execute strategy and plans for continuous operational improvements
Resolves production issues in a timely manner
Maintains procedures to ensure quality relating to all production processes
Provide support to project leads on specific project task Will be assigned task for training and development purposes
All other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.
• Occasional physical demand of moving or rearranging files and file storage boxes, and or product
• Fast-paced Office Environment
• Occasional Physical Demand for moving and relocating production equipment on the factory floor.
• May be required to wear personal protective equipment
• The work environment may expose employees to noise, heat, cold, dust, oil, grease, and/or coolants.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or the equivalent in appropriate education and experience as determined by management
• Proficient with CAD software (Design & Manufacturing disciplines)
• Basic understanding of common manufacturing processes
• Good oral and written skills
• Ability to deal with internal and external customers tactfully and in a professional manner
