Job Title: Process Technician

Department: Molding

Reports To: Molding Supervisor or Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Purpose: To ensure the efficiency and documentation of molding processes while meeting continuous improvement objectives.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Document molding processes assuring their accuracy and ability to be repeated.
• Ability to implement corrective action plans to minimize molding defects through continuous improvement.
• Document mold set-up procedures.
• Assist with machine set-ups as required.
• Assist with preventive maintenance as required.
• Schedule press and labor requirements in a back-up role.
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in injection molding/blow molding/extrusion processing.
• Mold set-up experience.
• Preventive maintenance background.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift qualified.
  
  

Physical Demands

• Ability to spend 90% of the workday walking or standing.
• Ability to move heavy items with the use of a crane or forklift; Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to climb and physically move around on machinery to set up presses.
  
  

Work Environment

• The ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• The ability to work in a high noise level facility.
  
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
