Responsiblities
- Organize and schedule mold maintenance activities.
- Use measuring tools to inspect and clean equipment before, during, and after molding operations.
- Adjust equipment settings to ensure quality production.
- Troubleshoot and repair molds and tools as needed.
- Read blueprints and schematics to create new fixtures and machine parts.
- Utilize CAD software for design purposes.
- Manage CNC mill programs and implementing daily improvements.
- Build new molds and tools based on specifications.
- Inspect completed tools for any defects.
- Maintain inspection and maintenance records.
- Collaborate with supervisors and technicians daily.
- Attend production meetings and contribute to planning processes.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- At least 3 years of prior mold or tooling design experience is a PLUS.
- MUST have at least 3 years of prior experience constructing/manufacturing molds or tooling.
- CNC programming or operation experience is a PLUS.
- MasterCAM / SolidWorks experience is a PLUS.
- Must have access to own handheld tools.
- Willingness to learn and cross-train and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions, and effective time management and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including overtime as needed.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and company success.
- Extensive knowledge with measuring equipment
- Bi-lingual is a plus (English/Spanish)
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. of force, and/or consistently lift up to 20 lbs.of force to move objects.
