Pay : $100,000 - 120,000 base Benefits

Location : based near Kansas City, MO region.
Schedule : Full-time / M-F / First Shift
We have a well-established company near the Kansas City, MO region seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the timely production of high-quality products that consistently surpass customer expectations. The Plant Manager will be crucial in offering strategic oversight and dynamic leadership to enhance plant operations, drive performance toward operational goals, and foster a culture of effective communication and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize all aspects of the plastic extrusion blow molding operations, ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality output.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance plant productivity, reduce downtime, and maintain safety standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and operators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to improve team skills and knowledge.
- Ensure that all products meet or exceed quality standards and customer specifications.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to identify and address any production issues.
- Develop and execute operational plans and strategies to meet production targets and business goals.
- Analyze production data and metrics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee routine maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Monitor and manage the plant budget, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising product quality or safety.
