What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Plastipak Careers?
Plastipak Forklift Operators safely and efficiently move & store finished goods and raw materials between the warehouse and production areas. Associates take pride in maintaining our high standards of quality products and our positive team culture.
As a Forklift Operator, You Will:
- Operate propane forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas
- Use RF scanning device to scan goods and properly maintain inventory using SAP
- Load finished goods to ship to customers
What's needed to be a Forklift Operator?
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience (propane)
- Adequate computer skills, experience with SAP a plus
- Solid work history with longevity in previous roles
Shifts: 2nd shift: 2:30pm-11pm
Pay: $24.50/hr
