Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Linden, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 1st shift: 8AM - 4:30PM
Pay Rate:
- $20 / hour
Job Summary:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely transporting stock within the warehouse using forklifts or other material-handling equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials, as well as pack and unpack shipments.
- Label, sort, and organize both incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Move products and supplies to designated locations within the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport goods efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records of received and dispatched items.
- Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials when required.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual in English AND Spanish
- Must have a forklift certification
- Must have experience with reach trucks and cherry pickers
- Must have scanner experience
