Job Summary:
The Marketing Manager will oversee all marketing activities for our restaurants, private events, and catering services. This role requires a strategic and creative thinker who can develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase guest traffic, enhance brand visibility, and achieve revenue targets. The position is remote but will require occasional on-site visits for events, team meetings, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for each restaurant and business line (restaurants, pizzeria, private events, and catering).
Plan and execute seasonal and themed campaigns to drive traffic and revenue (e.g., Wine Nights, live jazz events, holiday promotions).
Manage digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, social media, and online advertising.
Create and curate compelling content, including graphics, videos, and photography, to support campaigns.
Oversee menu updates, promotions, and events across all platforms, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
Partnerships & Community Engagement
Develop strategic partnerships with local businesses, media outlets, and influencers to increase brand exposure.
Coordinate participation in community events and sponsorship opportunities to enhance local visibility.
Analytics & Performance Tracking
Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics, guest traffic, and revenue growth.
Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize ROI.
Track KPIs, including:
o Monthly guest count increases.
o Catering and event revenue growth.
o Digital engagement metrics (social media followers, email open rates, etc.).
Private Events & Catering
Collaborate with the events team to market private dining and catering services.
Develop promotional materials and campaigns to drive bookings for special events.
Support the sales team with leads and inquiries.
Budget & Resource Management
Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize impact.
Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., graphic designers, photographers) as needed.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Guest Count Increases: Achieve a 10% quarterly growth in guest traffic across all restaurants.
Revenue Targets: Meet or exceed the following revenue goals:
o Plate Italiano Moderno - Brookside: $2.5M annually.
o Plate Italiano Moderno - Leawood: $3.5M annually.
o Neapolitan Pizzeria: $1M annually.
Event Success: Drive $1M in private events and catering revenue for 2025.
Digital Engagement: Increase social media followers by 20% and achieve an average email open rate of 25%.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $35,000-$55,000 annually (pro-rated for part-time).
Performance Bonuses:
o Achieve quarterly revenue milestones for each restaurant: $2,000
o Successfully drive private events and catering to $1M in revenue for 2025: $5,000 bonus.
Total Potential Compensation: $48,000-$68,000 annually.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
