Administrative staffing coordinator
Plateau Healthcare is family owned and founded based on compassion.? We are a growing company who services the needs of our Clients by providing Nursing care in our complex medical home facilities.
The administrative staffing coordinator supports service delivery to the people we serve by scheduling staff, managing time off requests and attendance for their team. The administrative staffing coordinator provides leadership, positive role modeling and critical thinking skills to facilitate staff development.
The administrative staffing coordinator will work as part of a team in conjunction with the HR manager and executive directors, who together will oversee the scheduling for all our medical home’s locations within the Twin Cities area. This position will require an in-person at our main office in Brooklyn Park, MN. The work schedule will be Monday - Friday daytime hours, and on call- after hours Sunday-Saturday 7AM, 7PM,11PM
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to become proficient in company software and data systems.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Background or experience in understanding disciplines of Home Health/Home Cares (Preferred)
- Strong communication skills are necessary as you will interact with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success in this role.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma/GED
- Proven experience as staffing coordinator or scheduler
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Medical background preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point. Proficiency in Scheduling and Human Resource software.

- Post monthly schedule to support the needs of assigned programs..
- Communicate with employees regarding any time off requests.
- Communicate with Executive Directors to ensure training requirements for staff to complete assigned duties for scheduled shifts.
- Maintain frequent communication with management teams of assigned programs regarding shift coverage.
- Supervision of Casual employees.
- Monitor and reduce overtime and complete related reports.
- Ensure schedules have qualified staff members on the shifts to support the program needs.
- Copy, scan, and fax materials as needed.
- Ensure that the facility is adequately staffed to fulfill Clients’ needs.
- Assist in developing, implementing and coordinating staffing procedures.
- Assist with HR and office admin with other duties as assigned.
