What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Plateau?
Plateau is now accepting applications for an Accountant for our Clovis, NM Headquarters location.
Duties will include maintaining, preparing, posting, and balancing accounting and financial statements, records, documents, or reports, as well as performing other general accounting tasks in accordance with GAAP and 47 CFR Part 32. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of working independently and collaboratively, and able to manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining strong communication and coordination skills.
Minimum requirements to apply include a bachelor’s degree, at least three years’ previous experience in accounting or a related discipline, a thorough knowledge of accounting methods and principles, and proficiency in Excel and other Windows-based accounting packages. Previous telecom accounting experience and previous experience using iVUE are preferred.
Hours of work are normally scheduled Monday through Friday, but the position may require some flexible scheduling to meet deadlines and workload requirements. Extended periods of sedentary work at a computer workstation are also required.
