What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of IT position at Platform Recruitment?
Director of IT (Networking) – Denver/Dallas-Fort Worth (can be remote) - $90K-$120K Bonus
My client is a innovative, growing telecommunications networking company. They’re scaling over the next year and are looking for a key hire to lead the design, implementation and optimization of their leading networking infrastructure.
Main Duties:
Lead design of scalable network infrastructure
Manage network devices (inc. Junos and Cisco IOS based routers and switches)
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance
Acting as an SME in modern and legacy network technologies
Skills and experience required:
Expert knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, IGP, TCP/IP etc.)
Knowledge of wireless technologies, 5G NSA – along with experience of retrofitting 5G tech into existing networks.
The ideal candidate will be someone with a background in wireless technologies, core networks and Linux Infrastructure
