Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining farm operations, ensuring the health and productivity of crops, and supporting various farming activities. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various tools and machinery effectively.
Duties
- Assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops using hand tools and machinery.
- Operate and maintain farm equipment, including stamping presses and press brake machines.
- Conduct quality control checks on produce to ensure standards are met.
- Utilize CAD software for planning layouts and designs related to farming operations.
- Implement logic controllers for efficient operation of farm machinery.
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure precision in farming processes.
- Package produce for distribution while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in agriculture or farm operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hand tools and machinery used in farming is essential.
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus.
- Knowledge of quality control processes related to agricultural products is beneficial.
- A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to modern farming practices.
