We at Platinum Group Security are searching for a Director of Security in the Miami Beach area! We are looking for a skilled and seasoned professional to help maintain the daily Security operations of one of our Luxurious high-rise condominiums.
Director of Security
Pay: 55 - 65 K
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-3pm
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety and security of the organization.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of all security systems, including CCTV surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.
- Manage a team of security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop emergency response plans and ensure effective communication during crisis situations.
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and other external partners to address security concerns and incidents.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to security management.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the security field.
- In-depth knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, and loss prevention techniques.
- Strong understanding of security principles and practices in a corporate environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze complex situations, make sound decisions, and take appropriate action in emergency situations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field is preferred.
