Job Overview:
Platinum Industrial, Inc. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee and manage mechanical industrial projects from initiation to completion. A Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and team management. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial operations, combined with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage mechanical industrial projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Develop project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, design, procurement, and construction) to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, track expenses, and ensure the project stays within budget.
- Manage project schedules, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and identifying potential delays or risks.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, working with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

- 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the mechanical or industrial sector.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar qualifications is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, processes, and equipment used in industrial settings.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and schedules.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and other relevant tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality assurance practices in industrial projects.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of union regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and labor laws at the local, state, and federal levels.
