We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Estimator with Project Management experience to oversee and manage construction projects from estimation to completion. Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects. Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and CAD to create detailed estimates and manage project data efficiently.
- Collaborate with project management teams to develop budgets and timelines for construction projects.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information and assess conditions that may impact project costs.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining estimated costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses.
- Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive bids while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor ongoing projects for cost control, identifying any discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and techniques to provide accurate estimates.
- Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Conduct thorough construction estimating to determine project costs and pricing strategies.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Utilize software tools such as Xactimate for project documentation and cost control.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Monitor construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and quality standards are met.
- Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any potential issues.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members to facilitate effective communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, HeavyBid).
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
- Strong analytical skills for cost control and budgeting purposes.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
