The Process Technician II inspects powder metal parts for dimensional accuracy and surface defects, performing various inspection tasks.
Train department personnel on Statistical Process Control (SPC) as needed
Perform lot inspection
Conduct first article inspections as required by customer and / or internal requirements
Examine parts for defects
Perform capability studies
Separate and mark defective parts for rework operations
Conduct in-process inspections as needed
Perform gauge calibration
Load setups for departmental inspection steps
Complete timecards and other production documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Interpret blueprints and consult with personnel to ensure the quality of parts
Must be able to accurately measure parts using various inspection equipment
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Computer skills and ISO knowledge required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 3 years of inspection experience
