Platinum Technologies currently has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator/Facilitator to support federal customers by leading project planning, stakeholder engagement, and contractor management. This role will be responsible for collaborating with federal staff and business unit (BU) representatives to define project requirements, track progress, and successful execution of initiatives
This role is REMOTE. Candidate must reside in the United States. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
What you get to do.
- Collaborate with federal staff and BU representatives to identify project requirements using Human-Centered Design (HCD) and other methodologies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, outlining objectives, scope, timelines, risks, and key milestones.
- Facilitate project meetings, including workshops and collaborative sessions with cross-ITA staff.
- Ensure timely execution of project deliverables while managing risks and dependencies.
- Track project component status and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate contractor meetings to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Provide monthly progress reports summarizing project status, accomplishments, risks, and next steps.
- Manage communication with executive leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability in project execution.
- Lead recruitment efforts for contractors, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates .
- Monitor contractor performance and address low to medium-impact performance concerns proactively.
- Ensure project deadlines are met by identifying blockers and facilitating solutions.
Required Skills.
- B.S./B.A. Degree
- Minimum six (6) years’ experience
- Able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator in a government or IT environment.
- Strong expertise in project planning, stakeholder engagement, and performance management.
- Experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD) and requirements gathering methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe) preferred.
- Experience working with federal agencies or government contracting.
- Knowledge of IT transformation and digital modernization initiatives.
