Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented team member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. The role will include customer service and helping our guests, stocking shelves, basic maintenance, and cleaning when needed.
Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel environment, providing guests with an exceptional experience.
Schedule:
Evenings for ~5 hours a night 5 days week. 4:00pm - 9:15pm. During busy/peak seasons, additional hours will be available.
Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder linens and garments.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for specialized items.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area.
- Stocking closets and keeping them organized.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items.
- Basic pool and spa maintenance as needed
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Helping guests and delivering items as needed

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Willing to shovel snow
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.

Pay: $18.66 - $19.36 per hour
