Job Summary:
Perform all functions of Welding Department ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
Open Schedules:
- Monday- Friday
- 8 hours
- 6:00am - 2:30pm

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- use hands for fine manipulation

- The incumbent works primarily in a manufacturing facility
- noise level may be moderate to loud

Pay:
This position starts at $22.50
For any internal position moves, the following requirements must be met for consideration:
- Work in your current role for at least 90 days
- Have no more than 2 attendance occurrences in the preceding 90 days
- Have no safety violations in the preceding 90 days
- And have departmental Supervisor, Manager, Plant Manager, and HR approval
- Department needs will be considered in all move considerations
Qualifications
Position Expectations:
- Must be able to pass the internal Weld Test
- Use and knowledge of MIG Welding required
- Basic knowledge of universal hand tools required
- Use and knowledge of galvanized pipe welding or willingness to learn preferred
- Willingness to learn how to read a blueprints
- Ability to learn various department centers
- Ability to learn to read a measuring tape
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and deadlines
- Attention to detail regarding product specification, quality standards, and processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support multiple customers
- Attendance is an essential function of this position
- Ability to cross-train on other areas within the facility
- Must be 18-years of age
