Job Summary:

Perform all functions of Welding Department ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. 

Open Schedules:

• Monday- Friday
  • 8 hours
  • 6:00am - 2:30pm

• The incumbent works primarily in a manufacturing facility

Pay:

This position starts at $22.50

For any internal position moves, the following requirements must be met for consideration:

• Work in your current role for at least 90 days
• Have no more than 2 attendance occurrences in the preceding 90 days
• Have no safety violations in the preceding 90 days
• And have departmental Supervisor, Manager, Plant Manager, and HR approval
  • Department needs will be considered in all move considerations

Qualifications

Position Expectations:

• Must be able to pass the internal Weld Test
• Use and knowledge of MIG Welding required
• Basic knowledge of universal hand tools required
• Use and knowledge of galvanized pipe welding or willingness to learn preferred
• Willingness to learn how to read a blueprints
• Ability to learn various department centers
• Ability to learn to read a measuring tape
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks and deadlines
• Attention to detail regarding product specification, quality standards, and processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support multiple customers
• Attendance is an essential function of this position
• Ability to cross-train on other areas within the facility
• Must be 18-years of age
