Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our creative team. We are an all outdoor preschool that focuses on learn through play. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress through standardized testing and observational methods.
- Provide individualized support to children, including those requiring early intervention or additional assistance.
- Facilitate activities that promote physical education, social skills, and behavioral management.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns related to child welfare.
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the educational and creative experience for all students.

- Help to create crafts for the children attending
Requirements
- Experience with children ages 18 months - 3 years
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare, daycare, preschool or educational setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate physical education and promote overall child development.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing positively to their growth.
- Creative abilities with free flowing ideas on how to recreate spaces for children to engage in as well as arts and crafts and hands on learning
- Must have a positive, happy and outgoing attitude , we are looking for someone who is eager to be a team player and help children, your coworkers and the children’s parents when needed
Education and/or experience
- At least one year of experience working with children
- CPR and first aid (will train)
- Mandated reporter certification (will train)
