Playfly Sports is seeking an AR Credit & Collections Specialist to work in Berwyn, PA. This role will assist the corporate finance team with managing customer credit evaluations and accounts receivable. The AR Credit & Collections Specialist will monitor cash flow and its relationship with aged accounts receivable.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Lead the credit review process for new customers.
- Assist with new customer onboarding into internal finance systems.
- Monitor outstanding accounts receivable across all divisions and follow up directly with customers on aged accounts receivable.
- Coordinate with internal departments on their outstanding accounts receivable to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.
- Research reasons for past due balances and notify customers with past due balances.
- Document daily collection activity and provide regular updates via reporting in financial systems.
- Identify bad debt to sales ratio for the finance team.
- Assist in identifying gaps and recommend improvements on collections processes.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- A high school diploma is required, a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience in Accounts Receivable departments.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Experience working in Netsuite or similar systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- The ability to exercise independent judgment or identify when assistance is needed.
- Ability to manage multiple projects timely and accurately.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This role is a sedentary position and takes place in a quiet office setting.
- Travel on rare occasions may be required for company-wide events.
