What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Playgroup Leader position at Playful Pooch Doggie Daycare & Boarding?
Playful Pooch is a dog daycare and boarding facility located in Mars on Route 228. We are looking for a part-time Dog Playgroup Leader for weekdays and weekends. We can accommodate all types of schedules including second jobs, college schedules, and cyber school schedules. This position is supervising a group of 15- 20 dogs. There is cleaning involved. We are looking for a reliable person with a positive attitude who likes to have fun with dogs!
Job details include:
- Keeping all pooches happy and playful
- Monitoring dog interactions
- Maintaining clean play areas
- Communicating with managers about any issues
- Must have the stamina to stand and walk for six to eight hours at a time
- Training wage is $10/hr for 30-day probationary period. $12/hr if requirements met after training period is completed. Further raises based on performance and promotion. We promote from within for management positions.

*Must have morning weekday availability in the fall
Hours of Shifts:
M-F 6:15am- 1:00pm & 1:00pm- 7:30pm
Sat 6:45am- 1:00pm & 1:00pm- 7:30pm
Sun 6:45am- 11:00am & 3:00pm- 7:30pm
