Playground Abode is a vibrant indoor play space where children can explore, engage, and create lasting memories. We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Playground Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a small team, and ensure a fun and safe experience for families.
Responsibilities:Team & Operations Management
- Supervise and support playground attendants and shift leads, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance in a positive, team-focused environment.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures and maintain a well-organized facility.
Customer Service & Safety
- Ensure all visitors receive friendly and helpful customer service.
- Enforce playground rules and safety protocols to provide a secure and enjoyable environment for children and families.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.
Facility & Event Support
- Monitor cleanliness and organization of play structures, seating areas, and party rooms.
- Assist with small event coordination, ensuring a smooth experience for birthday parties and group bookings.
- Maintain inventory of essential supplies, such as cleaning products, party and retail supplies.
Event & Party Coordination
- Oversee birthday parties and special events, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests.
- Work closely with party hosts and staff to set up, execute, and clean up events.
- Communicate with families before their event to confirm details, special requests, and logistics.
- Ensure all party supplies and decorations are stocked and ready for each event.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in retail, hospitality, entertainment, or with children preferred
- Leadership or management experience in customer service settings
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment
- Willingness to work weekends and some evenings, as needed
