Position Description:
The Senior Accountant will serve an integral part of the finance and accounting team and will be responsible for the general accounting functions, including financial reporting of practice operations and support of practice management
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Maintain multiple general ledgers and intercompany transactions for the management services organization (MSO) and the medical practices.
- Prepare monthly journal entries, analyses and account reconciliations as required to accurately close the monthly fiscal period.
- Support the monthly practice revenue recognition process and participate in month-end revenue analysis.
- Create and maintain allocations of various depreciation, amortization, prepaid accounts.
- Assist in month-end and year-end operations and reporting to remain in regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accounting controls by following Company standardized policies and procedures.
- The ability to maintain financials based on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and federal and state laws and regulations.
- Substantiate financial transactions for financial audits and review.
- Assist with special projects to support the Accounting and Finance department.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in accounting with a multi-site healthcare entity required, MSO accounting preferred. Experience with Sage Intacct software required.
- Experience within healthcare services. Value-based care, Medicaid, and/or pediatrics experience preferred.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and drive actionable insights.
- High emotional intelligence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization.
- Proven project management skills driving strategic and complex initiatives to completion while maintaining budgets, timelines and attaining critical milestones across cross-functional project.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High level of integrity, discretion, humility, and professionalism.
- Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
