Position Summary
The Channel Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in driving Soft Play's growth and market penetration. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing effective channel partner marketing (B2B2C) strategies to support the sales team and maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Strategy Development:
o Develop and implement comprehensive channel marketing strategies aligned with Soft Play's overall business objectives.
o Identify and evaluate potential channel partners to expand market reach.
o Establish and maintain strong relationships with channel partners.
Marketing Plan Creation:
o Create detailed marketing plans for each channel, including target audience segmentation, messaging, and promotional activities.
o Develop and manage marketing budgets for channel initiatives.
Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
o Analyze channel performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Competitive Monitoring:
o Track competitor activities and identify opportunities for differentiation.
o Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
Campaign Adaptation:
o Tailor marketing campaigns to fit the specific needs and requirements of different channels.
o Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
Go-to-Market Strategy Development:
o Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products or services.
o Coordinate with sales, product management, and other departments to ensure successful launches.
KPI Generation and Monitoring:
o Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure channel marketing success.
o Track and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
Budget Management:
• Manage the channel marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and a high return on investment.
• Monitor spend across campaigns and ensure all marketing activities remain within budget.
Training and Enablement:
• Develop and deliver training programs for channel partners to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and can effectively market and sell them.
• Provide sales teams with the tools and resources they need to succeed in channel environments.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in channel partner marketing or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of B2B2C channel marketing principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
