Responsibilities
- Engage, counsel and enroll prospective applicants in alignment with admissions requirements.
- Assist applicants in navigating their educational options and career paths.
- Actively recruit students through various outreach initiatives, including high school visits, college fairs, and community events.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a seamless transition for incoming students.
- Conduct campus tours and information sessions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of university policies, procedures, and academic offerings to effectively assist students.
- Foster relationships with prospective students by providing exceptional customer service throughout the admission process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or communications preferred.
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Familiarity with recruiting strategies and best practices in higher education.
- Experience with academic advising is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skill, organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
