What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Clinical Instructor (Pediatrics) position at Plaza College?
Plaza College invites applications for the position of clinical adjunct faculty for a Pedaitrics rotation in their upper division Bachelor of Nursing Program. Applicants must have both clinical and teaching experience in pediatric nursing.
This rotation will take place in person at one of Plaza College's partner hospitals during the Spring 2025 semester (June 27th - August 8th) on Fridays from 7am-1pm and 2pm - 4pm.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements include Master’s Degree in Nursing, RN licensure in NYS, and appropriate specialized experience.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Prior clinical nursing experience
- Prior teaching experience with a strong preference for teaching
- Experience using instructional technology
- Experience with student-centered and high-impact pedagogy
- Experience with course and/or program assessment
