Pharmacy Technician/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our patients and customers, ensuring that transactions are processed efficiently and accurately. This position requires a strong focus on patient care and service, making it essential for candidates to possess relevant experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
• Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications and services.
• Assist in the management of inventory, including restocking shelves and organizing products.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations, particularly in relation to medication administration.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare professionals to support patient care initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area, adhering to aseptic techniques as necessary.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care practices and medication administration is a plus.
• Familiarity with IV infusion processes and critical care environments is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding patient service.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to adhere to all health regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.82 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
