Summary
As a Landscape and Garden Design and Sales Assocaite at Pleasant View Gardens, you will play an essential role in helping our clients create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces. This position is vital to our mission of promoting sustainable gardening practices while delivering exceptional service to our community.
Responsibilities
- Conducts client meetings and analyzes site for design or garden renovation
- Creates garden plans and conceptual designs to scale as needed using CAD based landscape design programs;
- Works directly with the client to assure their goals are met in the installation/renovation of their yard or garden
- Procures materials needed to assure the job can be completed in a timely manner
- Oversees the installation teams to produce quality workmanship
- Reviews completed projects with clients to assure needs are met
- Works with clients to sell maintenance and/or seasonal displays to assure their designs keep integrity
- Meets sales goals for department, and financial goals of business for increased sales
Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience involving landscape or garden design and sales, or a horticulturally related sales equivalent
- Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work with a variety of client needs with a professional mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while supporting individual responsibilities.
- Familiarity with CAD based design programs
