Position: Sales Representative
Schedule: 07:30AM – 04:00PM ET / Weekdays
Location: 711 Northland Ave. Buffalo, NY, 14211
We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining current customers, developing relationships with prospective clients, managing leads, and achieving sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
This position is a mix of inside and outside sales.

Plesh is a company with over 300 years combined experience from one of the best manufacturing teams in the industry. Our core business is mixing and filling oil and water-based liquids, waxes, pastes, powders, and slurries. Overview:
This position will be responsible for communicating the benefits of a company's products in order to drive sales. Our sales representative will serve as the point of contact between a business and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services. Additional Qualifications include a strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as an associate degree in business or related fields.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Qualify inbound leads and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying their needs and recommending suitable products or services.
- Sales Process Management: Guide prospects through the sales cycle, addressing objections, and closing deals effectively.
- Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's products and services to confidently address customer inquiries and provide tailored solutions.
- Reporting and Metrics: Track and report sales activity, including daily calls, pipeline updates, and closed deals, using CRM tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the customer service and outside sales team to ensure alignment in lead generation and customer engagement strategies.
- Customer Support: Provide post-sale support and resolve customer issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an inside sales or similar role, preferably at least 3-5 years and within chemical manufacturing.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport quickly.
- Results-driven and self-motivated, with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and using CRM tools, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Travel to meet with clients or potential clients will be required up to 50% of the time.
