Events Sales Assistant
Summary : The Events Sales Assistant's primary responsibility is to facilitate sales and maintain positive customer relations. The activities can include executing sales related tasks, researching event details for current customers, maintaining contact with potentially repeating customers, and working with other members of the events sales team to achieve departmental goals.

Reports To : Events Sales Manager

- Provide customers with the best possible customer service before, during, and after the sale
- Research event information such as dates, names, and hotel details for all potentially repeating Events customers, enter those details into Salesforce Opportunities, and connect customers with their Sales Consultant
- Execute sales-related tasks (e.g. job entry, confirming hotel lock systems, compiling hotel information for citywide events, creating / sending sample packs and test keys, sending thank you notes and emails, etc)
- Work extensively with Salesforce to manage daily tasks and enter / update customer information
- Perform other support tasks as requested by the Events Sales Manager
- Safely perform physical demands as indicated below
- Work overtime as needed to meet customers' needs
