Housekeeping Supervisor/Inspector

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility, ensuring that all housekeeping staff adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures to improve efficiency and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Address any guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the facility.
• Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inventory logs, and inspection reports.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and floor care techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to lead a team while fostering a positive work environment.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning chemicals is an advantage.
• Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
