The Marketing Cloud Specialist is responsible for configuring and maintaining the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to meet the organization's marketing needs. This role involves designing scalable workflows and automations, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with stakeholders to create impactful solutions. Additionally, the role focuses on maintaining the platform's architecture, resolving issues proactively, and supporting seamless customer engagement.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in solution design, and a proven ability to troubleshoot and collaborate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Cloud Implementation & Maintenance

  • Configure and maintain the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to align with business goals.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
  • Design and implement workflows, automations, and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor system logs and exception reports to ensure functionality.
  • Maintain and enhance the platform's architecture for scalability and reliability.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Accounting to identify business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce team members to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Work with the Technical Portfolio Product Manager to manage the Marketing Cloud backlog using Agile practices.
  • Train and support team members contributing to or building within Marketing Cloud.
  • Solution Design & Development

  • Develop best-practice solutions to address business needs.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including solution designs and workflows.
  • Build solutions that prioritize customer engagement and sales enablement.
  • Data Integrity & Performance Monitoring

  • Ensure automations and campaigns function correctly by proactively monitoring performance and generating reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Implement strategies to improve system performance and data quality.
  • Requirements

  • Experience administering Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including workflow and automation design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of customer engagement principles, especially in sales and marketing contexts.
  • Technical proficiency with tools like SQL, AMPscript, and other Salesforce-related technologies.
  • Ability to identify business requirements and coordinate across departments.
  • Experience monitoring system performance and managing exception reporting.

    Salary Description

    65,000-$75,000 plus opportunity for bonus
