WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

We are actively seeking a Corporate Partnership Manager to be responsible for sales and business development in Topeka, KS. An ideal candidate is highly strategic, ambitious, detail oriented, and able to effectively influence both within the organization and with our external partners.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
New Business Development:
- Identify strategies and opportunities for revenue growth within the team
- Forge and develop strong networks and relationships to enable continued rapid growth of Plug and Play
- Manage and track a robust pipeline of large, multinational corporations
Contract Negotiation/Closing:
- Work in conjunction with the Director to close corporate membership contracts.
- Produce, organize, and maintain internal and external sales and marketing materials including presentation decks, proposals, case studies, competitive intelligence, and contact lists.
Client Retention:
- Provide event production and logistical support for Summits, Expos, webinars, mentor sessions and other events.
- Work cross-functionally with partner focused teams to meet and execute on client requests.
- Collaborate with corporate executives at events, deal flow sessions, and office visits to ensure all partners are engaged according to their business needs.
Relationship Management and Research:
- Conduct research to identify new markets and industry sectors, including in-depth business analysis to identify new competitive opportunities.
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs and support in building client reports and presentations.
Team Leadership
- Coach SDRs to attract, nurture and develop sales-ready candidates for further development within the organization
- Develop and coach a best-practices framework of account-based and persona-based prospecting with personalized pitches
- Hold each SDR managers accountable to defined performance plans for their teams
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years of sales experience.
- Agtech or Animal Health experience preferred.
- Detail oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in public speaking.
- Comfortable with Excel, Google Docs, Salesforce CRM, Sales Navigator, and other technology solutions for driving sales.
- A passion for entrepreneurship is a must and startup experience is a plus.
