Job Title: HR Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to assist with the daily operations and processes of our Human Resources department.

Responsibilities:

  • Benefits Program Administration:
    • Oversee the end-to-end management of employee benefits programs, including 401k, health insurance, FSA, and other related benefits.
    • Ensure accurate and timely enrollment, changes, and terminations of benefits for all employees.
  • 401k Plan Management:
    • Administer and manage the company's 401k plan, including eligibility, enrollment, and contributions.
    • Coordinate with the 401k provider to ensure seamless operation of the plan and timely processing of contributions.
  • Compliance and Regulation:
    • Stay updated on federal and state regulations governing benefits programs.
    • Ensure all benefits programs are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Collaborate with external benefits providers, brokers, and consultants to negotiate contracts and ensure high-quality service delivery.
    • Evaluate vendor performance and advise for improvements or changes as necessary.
  • Employee Communication and Education:
    • Develop and execute communication strategies to educate employees about benefits offerings, changes, and updates.
    • Conduct regular benefits orientation sessions for new hires and coordinate ongoing educational programs.
  • Open Enrollment and Annual Review:
    • Lead the annual benefits open enrollment process, including plan design, communication, and employee education.
    • Conduct periodic reviews of benefit plans, ensuring they remain competitive and meet the needs of the workforce.
  • Claims and Issue Resolution:
    • Act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers to resolve issues related to claims, coverage, and disputes.
    • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of benefits-related inquiries.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate and analyze reports related to benefits utilization, costs, and trends.
    • Use data insights to make recommendations for improvements or changes to benefits programs.
  • Termination Process:
    • Manage benefits-related aspects of the employee termination process, including COBRA administration and final benefits reconciliation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Proven track record of superior interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with G-Suite and MS Office.
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask many projects simultaneously.
  • Strong internal and external communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.

The salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We require candidates to work 4 days a week at the office, with a flexible schedule that allows for remote work when needed.
