Job Summary:
A residential audio video tech assists with the installation and maintenance of low voltage wiring systems in both new construction and remodeling projects as well as trim- finish installations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Install low voltage systems, such as security systems, audio-visual equipment, and network cabling, in accordance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Implement structured cabling for audio-visual setups, including routing, termination, and labeling.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on installed systems to ensure optimal performance as necessary.
- Efficiently diagnose and repair issues related to low voltage systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with AV equipment.
- Install cameras, displays, and audio equipment, ensuring proper mounting.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team leaders.
- Have and Maintain Safety Working practices.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
Education and Experience
· Power tools
· At least 2 years of experience on construction sites related to low voltage installations.
· Valid Driver’s license
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders.
· Crawling in crawl spaces and attics when required.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
· Must be able to work at great heights.
Safety Requirements:
· Ensure that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is always worn when visiting any work site.
· Adhere to proper ladder safety protocols.
· Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and rules while working at any location.
· Wear appropriate work boots both while on site and off site.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
