Duties
- Operate CNC machines, ensuring precise machining of components according to specifications.
- Utilize sheet metal fabrication techniques, including laser cutting and press brake operations.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products, using precision measuring instruments to verify adherence to specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any operational issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Utilize hand tools for assembly and adjustments as needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge throughout the process.
- Assist in welding tasks as required, contributing to the overall production goals.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and understanding sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Experience with laser cutting technology and operating press brake machines is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality output in all tasks performed.
