POSITION/DESCRIPTION: Front Desk Attendant - Are you ready to be the smiling face that welcomes guests to our lakefront hideaway? Plum Point Lodge is seeking a Front Desk Attendant with a cheerful demeanor and a passion for providing top-notch customer service. As a Front Desk Attendant, you'll be the first point of contact for our arriving and departing guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued throughout their stay.
JOB TYPE: Seasonal - April - November
JOB DUTIES:
- Warm Welcome: Greet guests with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude, making them feel at home from the moment they arrive.
- Efficient Reservation Management: Use our reservation tool, ResNexus, to manage online, phone, and in-person room reservations with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Customer Service Excellence: Respond to guests' inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly and courteously, ensuring their needs are met with care and attention.
- Local Expertise: Share knowledge of local amenities and attractions with guests, helping them make the most of their visit to the Finger Lakes region.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other staff members to maintain hotel standards, accommodate special guest needs, and ensure a seamless guest experience.
