Job Title: MuleSoft Developer

Employment Type: 3-6 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $50/hr - $55/hr
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled MuleSoft Developer to design, develop, and implement integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API development, middleware solutions, and system integration to enhance business processes and ensure seamless data flow between applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy MuleSoft APIs and integrations to connect enterprise applications and systems.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to gather and understand integration requirements.
- Implement API-led connectivity strategies to enable reusable and scalable integration solutions.
- Develop data transformation and mapping processes using DataWeave and MuleSoft connectors.
- Ensure best practices in MuleSoft development, including security, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft applications.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, including API specifications, design documents, and test cases.
- Stay updated with MuleSoft’s latest features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously enhance integration capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in MuleSoft development, including API and integration design.
- Strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange.
- Proficiency in DataWeave, RAML, and RESTful/SOAP API design principles.
- Experience with cloud-based integrations (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft connectors, including Salesforce, SAP, databases, and third-party APIs.
- Knowledge of authentication and security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and SAML.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Jenkins, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4) certification.
- Experience with ETL tools, database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), and message queuing systems.
- Understanding of business processes in the food delivery or healthcare industry.
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
