Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Design:
- Utilize MicroStation or AutoCAD C3D to design civil relocation plans for telecommunications and dry utility projects.
- Analyze roadway plans to identify potential conflicts with existing and proposed utilities.
- Project Coordination:
- Assist Project Coordinators and Managers in planning and overseeing work production to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members extending to process and product improvements.
- Review project deliverables for quality and adherence to client specifications.
- Assist with permit applications and tracking.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or adjacent an engineering field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of engineering experience, preferably with some exposure to utility relocation design, utility coordination, or roadway design.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Internet Speed: Having a reliable and fast internet connection is crucial for remote work. Minimum connection speeds are 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload.
- Additional Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license (or actively pursuing as EIT).
- Experience on telecommunications relocation projects.
- Familiarity with submitting and tracking permits for utility projects.
